Cerec® is a system that enables us to utilize CAD CAM technology (computerized robot assisted production) for the manufacturing of dental prosthetic pieces of maximum quality, aesthetics and biocompatibility.

This system has the following advantages:

Excellent aesthetics: The computerised design allows us to come closer to the specific requirements of each patient and the quality of the ceramic material used is outstanding, being able to rule out the typical structures and caps traditionally made of metal alloys.

Absolute biocompatibility: The prosthetic parts manufactured using this system are mainly of the following types:

       -     All- ceramic crowns: The ceramic piece is glued directly onto the remains of the original tooth achieving higher resistance and aesthetic levels than using the traditional prosthetic metal alloy caps.

-         Zirconium crowns and bridge structures: This is the most advanced prosthetic system in the field, suitable for prosthetic pieces over implant as well as over natural teeth. It is an extremely durable material, which also offers us very interesting advantages in the dental field, like its outstanding biocompatibility (much higher than the metals traditionally utilized in dentistry), or its white and translucent colour, which allows us to improve the aesthetic aspect substantially and is fundamental in patients with high aesthetic demands.

Time saving and convenient for the patient:

Crowns can be manufactured and placed on the same day and in most cases without the need of having to use temporary pieces. The patient benefits from a fast treatment and more importantly, the quality is not being compromised but it is being substantially increased.

On the other hand there is a considerable amount of time saved for the patient, as the number of visits to the practice is reduced.
